Since Mom is sick I get to do the quote of the week!

Love is an exploding cigar we willingly smoke.

Barkley, thank you for helping your Mom out. I happen to be experiencing the explosion, maybe not in the same way the writer meant but none the less I'm goin through stuff.

Take care of yourself & feel better quick Brigid.

I thought of cigar with a fuse with that picture and couldn't help but think of that old quote.

Feeling better, made teriyaki chicken, rice and veggies with extra crushed red pepper to kill the cold, the remains will be added to the chicken stock for soup tomorrow.

Oh, you just ruined my image of you! I thought you were the type that never gets sick!!! Cute picture of Barkley.

If you're quoting with cigars I'll see Lynda Barry and raise you a George Burns.

Happiness is: A good martini, a good meal, a good cigar and a good woman . . . or a bad woman, depending on how much happiness you can stand.

Sherry - yes, I get sick but I still have my Superwoman underpants.

Excellent photo of Barkley. He's a great dog and I agree with North he does look a little like Groucho.

And yet we always go back to the Humidor after one explodes!

So what is the Secret Word Barkley?

It was a tossup between this and a Groucho Marx quote :)

When you're sick, it's good to have a friend around - give Barkley an extra pat - my canine friend is not here anymore.

I still can't think of that as a cigar.
